最新研究表明：泽兰全草制剂有强心作用，还有保肝护肝作用。
现在临床研究表明泽兰对肾纤维化有疗效。
针对泽兰进行单体成分提取分离，通过活性筛选确定有效成分。
现针对泽兰中的槲皮素利用Hplc法进行含量测定。

别名地瓜儿苗、地笋、地参等[1]，是一种用途广泛的传统中药材，最早收载于《神农本草经》,被列为中品。
文献报道泽兰中含有三萜酸类、酚酸类、黄酮类、挥发油等多种化学成分[2]。
三萜酸是以游离态存在的酸性三萜类化合物，具有免疫调节、护肝、抗炎、抗病毒、降血糖等活性[3]。
